## Repository Contents

The root directory of this repository currently contains the following two module branches:

* USB2CAN
* USB2FDCAN

## USB2CAN Module

Open protocol, compatible with both V1 and V2 host software.

The V1 host software supports Windows only and is not cross-platform.

This directory contains the open-source protocol and open-source host software for the USB2CAN module.

## USB2FDCAN Module

Closed protocol, compatible only with the V2 host software.

The V2 host software supports Windows, Linux, and macOS.

**Note:** V1 is a dedicated host software for USB2CAN, while V2 is a universal host software compatible with both USB2FDCAN and USB2CAN.
