Tired of introducing yourself every time you start a new conversation with an AI? **whoami** solves that. Create one identity profile, and every AI agent you use — Codex, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, or any other — instantly knows your name, skills, preferences, and work style.

No more repeating yourself. Just talk.

## Why whoami?

Ever run into these?

- **Switch AI, lose identity** — You move from Codex to Claude, and it has no idea who you are. You start introducing yourself all over again.
- **New chat, blank slate** — Even with the same AI, every new conversation starts from zero. Your context, preferences, and history — all gone.

## Quick Start

### Option A: Tell your AI agent (easiest)

Just paste this to any AI agent (Cursor, Claude, Codex, etc.):

3. **Configure** — The dashboard provides a one-time URL for secure API key delivery. Your AI agent downloads it and saves the config automatically — no need to copy-paste keys manually
4. **Talk** — Start any conversation. Your AI automatically loads your profile and knows who you are
5. **Update** — Mention something new about yourself. Your AI saves it, and every AI agent you use learns it

## What Gets Saved?

Your profile is a simple Markdown document. It can include anything you want your AIs to know:
